MY TIME IN OUTER HEBRIDES
It wasn't much, mind you, just
some wine and a truffle or two.
Cakes and spaghetti and some
tofu too. Grime where the maid
had missed. At Niagara Falls, on
the other hand, you can ride the
Maid Of the Mist and be back in
an hour and a half. Plenitude.
The Outer Hebrides were pretty
nice. I spent a whole decade there,
one year; or, as Mark Twain said
about the City By the Bay : 'The
coldest Winter I ever had was
a Summer in San Francisco.'
