LEANING THIS WAY
The tiger in the basement just
yawned - I'm think about
leaving town. It has eyes like
charcoal red-spots, screaming
back in silent fury : I can read
but I can't always understand.

Now I sit me down, in my idle
flop-hat to make chit-chat at the
surface-rail station in Jersey City
New Jersey. Here, where the 'crook
of the day award' always goes to
the local Senator - whether it's
Robert Menendez or Cory Booker
or once, even, Robert Torricelli.
Ha! That lasted about two weeks.

Let's not forget Frank Lautenberg.
Let's not forget Harrison Williams.
The Metropark Train Station was
once named after him - that last
about two. weeks too! Ha!
