ON THE PAGE STAIRS,
THE PINEAPPLE IS
A BRAZILIAN THING
And no one knows where anything went:
Outside this window, the spires of Grace
Church stand. The light slants shadows
across the face of a lovely stonework.
I envy what I can, the rest, I simply
appreciate for what they are. This
all passes so quickly.
