IN A MANNER OF SPEAKING
The wide fringe of circumstance takes
its place at the edges of time. We are
what we interpret : a simple license
to make sense of chaos only occasionally
needs renewal. The lantern warms while
it lights as well - two parts, one army.
-
In a manner of speaking, that which is
there is not there at all. The flimsy web
that spider makes, to a bug is a cage of
steel. We cannot see this, yet we have
the words to make our understanding.
-
On the wakening hillside, things new
are taking their place : a silent scuttle is
brewing; the leaves of the branches and
trees know their own orders as they line
up into their (very new) time.
