NOTHING IS NOW
And pretty simple at that: The
sand piles at the edge of town;
the heaps of gravel at the boro
garage. This guys with cigars
know what to do.
-
Stan's serves spaghetti; not a
specialty, mind you, just some
dish they put out for lunch, and
the local miners eat it. It seems.
-
A few local cuties tend to the
tables, and, even now, mostly
overlook the whole distance
and masking thing. Out here,
not many care about that.
-
The guy at my local car shop
says, when asked, 'You can do
whatever you want. Wear the
mask or not, I don't care.'
-
There are no cops anyway, to
enforce anything at all. It goes
as it goes, and keeps on pretty
well for all that.
