NEVER SPEED UP
It's axiomatic. That means it goes
without saying : like a wind that
winds through trees. There's a
solid tempo, first written - it
may meander and come about;
it may waver and move, but it's
always there and it's staying. A
studio guy won't want to change
that. True blood, soaked to the
knees. They never speed up.
There's never that need. They
just keep it steady instead.
