7236. TABLES FOR TWO

TABLES FOR TWO
That's separate, you understand?
Plural is as plural does. Here, plural
is for the singular. How wise does all
this get? In Easton, tucked in a corner,
there's a little candy-shop  -  makes its
own stuff, candy, fudge, the whole bit.
In a town like that, I don't know how they
stay in place. Like the Crayola place is
right across the street  - but they've got
their own tourist shops. And it's all a
bother : right after October, already, that
stupid Christmas candle goes up in the
middle of town. Takes the boring right
out of boorish for me. Derelicts and
welfare cases, just hanging around.
