THAT MARY, THAT MARY
I opened the 'Spoonful of Silver' coffee shop
as a mistake already - it was supposed to be
'Spoonful of Sugar', but I don't know why.
It was in answer to a coffee shop in Plainfield,
catering to blacks, which I think doesn't really
welcome white people. It's called, 'Black, no
Sugar.' But they say 'Shuga', which I think is
supposed to mean sugar, but, I don't even know
that. Maybe it was my sign-painter's mistake, that
spoonful of silver thing, I don't remember that either.
Like waking from twenty dreams all at once;
how's a guy supposed to get on?
