MAGNIFICENT JOTTINGS BUT
THE MAN TORE HIS SHIRT
Another one of those Internet poets, self-defined, and
pugnacious: the ghetto guys who post the black rose
and write about the red heart you struck from their chest,
or the dark fury of the bird betrayed. There are notebooks
with things like that, and they often call themselves funny
names too - 'the Dark Star,' writes, or maybe it's 'Kensington
the Poet.' Dear or not, wild or witty, in so many ways, we are
all alike - having taken our electronic liberty now from the
walls and sockets, batteries and tech, which we use to make
this world. Insisting nothing has changed? The same old
'muse' unfurled?
