It's his breakfast again; Jeez all he ever
does is eat. I see him down at the corner
most every morning. Eggs over easy, lightly
buttered toast, home fries and the rest. 'Keep
the home fires burnin' can't be easier than that.
There's a gossip to each and every step; someone
to tell and to try. Someone with words lightly
fried; just enough to crinkle the 'taters and pie.
Two gallons of coffee are gone in a wink.
