6162. FABRICATE THE MASSES

FABRICATE THE MASSES
The lean-to you live in required attention.
I came over with shovel and pail  -  it fell
over anyway, but we really didn't care.
My own ideas went more towards concrete
and stone  -  an idea of a Roman wall around
all our world. You were more open to gates.
-
'What do you think we should put outside this
wide perimeter?' I remember you asked me that.
I only thought a little and said 'let's fabricate
some idea of the masses.' How advanced was I?
-
Hittites or Canaanites; all those Romans and
Greeks. What difference never mattered, they
all shared Gods and didn't even know it. Do
you remember how  -  for ourselves  -  we
always seemed to stay above the fray?
