14, 068. WHERE'S THE MAGIC?

WHERE'S THE MAGIC?
Reading kids' books to kids is one
thing, but reading kids' book to adults
so they can buy them for kids makes
no sense and should be called what
it is  -  don't you think? Marketing,
maybe.
-
I have had happenstance happen to
me. I have watched people fall over
while waiting in a line; faint dead
away. It was nothing so big that
one couldn't get over.
-
Now? There's no mule in the
wagon-train and no horse at the
rodeo. Tucson's a parking lot and
Costa Mesa no longer sells postcards,
We're all waiting for the other shoe
to drop.
-
Where's the magic in that?
