Too early to view the manger and
the lambs, the baby din and the
Holy Family of circumstance, we
watch instead the churchyard lawn
as the new frost withers the grass.

world for me when the day after
Halloween I'm assumed to be
buying someone else a car for
Christmas? Commercials on zany
parade pushing idiot-madness by
people on drugs. Let me get home,
my spirit needs hugs, not this.
