IT HASN'T YET RAINED
It hasn't yet rained but it
actually already has. The
ground is already quite wet.
If this was some place by the
Straits of Magellan, or an old
paradise just this side of Jamaica,
I'd understand more how the
words of the weather people
aren't meant to be taken for
truth. Some give and take,
maybe, but not truth.

The Middle Ages weren't in the
middle of anything, then. That
sure seems now like a moveable
scale. I wonder what they'll
call today.
