KINDLING
As much as I remain determined,
I cannot any longer hold twigs
in my hands. Only fiercer flames
from larger wood are in my future
forest. There's no manipulation
like the movement of flames.

Coke bottle glasses and revolving
doors. Women with handbags made
of fake leather. Kids running street
games in the middle of a highway
lanes. Who knows how things go?
