BREAKING BANKS AT MONTE CARLO
It was only supposed to be just one, and I
never really knew what it even was. I think
maybe I saw it once - long ago - on a Daffy
Duck cartoon. Maybe? No? When I was that
age, women were temptresses, and gambling
was all the cartoon rage. Crooks and criminals
were always on the make.

They'd park 30-foot long limos outside some
rich-man's palace and walk with aplomb to
their fate. The cards were all marked in
advance. Three hours later, everyone who'd
entered was already broke. The rich get rich,
and the poor get poorer.
