RETROGRADE PALLADINO
It seemed they were storming the
castle once more, all those hordes
on the liveried streets screaming.
Grosz or someone else, any artist
of the Winter Palace, I didn't care
to choose. I tried to find a quiet
muzzle for when you were to say
'We must keep the child quiet.'
You seemed to know they would
come, to take us away.
