GET IT ALL OUT OF THE WAY
I've spent some time marauding, in
a listless way, over land and sea. No
large matters, mind you - none of
that revolution or mayhem stuff.
Just ocean, maybe seaweed, and me.

I grant you, I have learned things
all along the way : moonlight, starlight,
phosphorescence on the waters. What
it sometimes means, well that's still
baffling to me. I ought to have, then,
studied more these things? To say
that, in itself, pains me dearly, for
now time is running out.

One can never alleviate the future
by a discount of the past. Where that
leaves the present is a question vast.
