SEMINARY CATS
Well, let's see, it was 1963
and all them cats was lazin'.
Seminary cats and Hootenany
Dudes. Chino pants, and funny
buck shoes. We were all fashion
plates in our our own silly minds.

Some guys wore way better shirts
than others. I learned the difference
'tween knits and tweeds. Oxfords and
Gabardines. Then Kennedy got killed
and it was soon 1964.

Sure! Though not much changed we
kept along on all our ways. We had
napkin rings and fabric napkins too;
and each week they'd be laundered
and the bills came due. Tell me, did
you ever know boys who lived like
that? I knew every one of these
Seminary Cats.
