7893. HOLD THE KITCHEN CURTAIN

HOLD THE
KITCHEN CURTAIN
For I beseech you neighbor not to come.
Stay put in your far better castle. The trails
here are jagged with rocks and many of the
now are blocked; leading nowhere.
-
It's easier for the corn flakes box to remain
unopened than to sag and wilt in the overly
moist and humid air of all these tears. Ladies
are lined up for miles in their mourning
clothes. They learn new words before
daylight. Strange ways of saying the
same old things.
-
A man arrives, carrying a dog. He puts
the dog down and announces 'I have found
a stray. Anyone may have it.'
