INDUCE AN ORDINANCE
I have practiced in books and walked away
smiling: the cow that jumped over the moon.
Other times, leaving good intentions behind, I
entered with a sternly voracious appetite to stay.
Listening for the voices; weathermen, preachers,
all those social types. My log book was marked.
Another time I drove a truck to someone new,
two couches in tow to give away. And give away
I did. I want an ordinance passed for that.
