WINSOME SIDE-POLE
In trouble from the first, the two Polish guys
were dangling from a brace - it had fallen
but they were secure - life vests and huge
buckles held them in. Maybe 17 or 18 stories
up. What a story this would be. The only reason
I knew they were Polish was because, down here
on the street, looking up, all you heard were the
names, and the scaffold company was the
Kochanski Brothers. So, I made the leap.
