SIMPLE MINDS
I saw a group of strangers walking
along Canberry Street. They were
gathered to burn their stimulus
checks. I had to stop and think
about that one. Their point was
true resistance; they were standing
where they spoke : 'Declaiming
this regime with words is not
enough. We need to illustrate the
folly. Fake money, created from
nothing; simply being thrown
about at will to add to simple
matters like the enslavement
of expectation. We are all their
victims now. But we here refuse.'
