SESQUICENTENNIAL
I was a small boy never knowing what that meant ;
'sesquicentennial.' It seemed to be the same year
my town was named 'Tree City' as well. Something
about all that faux history, "Small Town USA' stuff.
Led me to believe mostly in nothing at all. Accolades,
after all, can be bought; accolades sure can be bought.
