VICTORIA, AT
LANGDON JUNCTION
No forging fake papers for me; the
way to the real remains real. Elmira's
only museum was fit for a king. In
each alcove another ancient painting.
Most of it was medical - some guy
who used to paint scenes of operations
and amputations. The old way, back
when anesteshia was a joke.
-
Trepanning, it was called. In living
color too. Painted like a photograph.
