MOST ILLUSTRIOUS
My mother used to say 'Things
happen for a reason.' I never
believed it was true, and probably
still don't. If they happen for a
reason, does that mean they
don't happen for a reason as
well? That's a rather strangely
negative circumspection; a way
around the unhappening void.
Fact is, we spend most of the
entirety of our lives amidst
things that do not occur.
-
That's pretty strange, but real.
And I don't think there's any
difference between. Like
'Possession being nine-tenths
of the law,' not happening is
nine-tenths of a life. So, take
your chances when you may.
It all works out in the end,
in most-illustrious ways.
