IN THE WAYBACK WORLD
That darned armless harpsichordist
was back again : Every seventh Sunday
out here playing in the park. Weather
permitting, but it always permits.
-
The juggler was jugging ten dollar
bills right alongside, while some
Julliard girl with her beret on the
ground was getting quarters for
doing splits to the sounds.
-
A wayfaring day in the merry
month of May. The fountain,
only recently turned back on for
the season, was sending fine
spray in every direction. And
was quite the sensation:
-
Children on bicycles zooming
right through it; dogs on a leap
chasing frisbees, and the leaves
by the Garibaldi statue had just
turned Spring green. Everything
one wished for could surely be
seen - life become happiness
in a world seldom seen.
