792. THE BRETON HOLD

THE BRETON HOLD
There is none, he had none. Misery.
In the stinking, wet hold of this
traveling boat the mimicry is
all of monkeys. Simply put:
there are no windows to open,
you fool; we are well below
the water line. In the bowels of
this boat there is a bakery and -
though this is really more like a
ship than a boat - in the same way
(damn all!) this bakery's more like
a closet with an oven within.
Good God it grows so hot!
Together we sweat enough to fill
the sea with our own salty water.
