CEREBUS
Cerebus is the dog who guards
the gates of Hell. He snaps at
any incoming passage without
due warrant? Or is that not needed
there, it all being detritus, as it is?
('Softly, softly, turn the wheel softly...').

Where did they get that idea anyway?
Why did they placate the varied stream
of life with such an odd contagion, a
contingency to such things as only
nightmares can bring? I still wonder.
