SOVEREIGN NATIONS FUND
Nothing much ever comes of that
except population waves and sweatshop
warehouses. Leaders with stun guns
and machetes too. The cattle I've
seen there are so thin they make
a willow wisk. Those native women
with distended breasts clutch their
babies, who have flies on their eyes.
Why is any of this, I wonder? And
how does it all go on. Populations
come and go, I understand, but those
that remain just end up a burden.
When some medieval Pope comes
out - as they each eventually do -
to bless and succor the masses, it
more than ever ends up as TV; a
coarsely-presented sermon and
some boiler-plate, multi-lingual
pap and promise. Not enough
to feed a flea. (The money's
all at the top, you see).
