BIG MUNITIONS,
LITTLE MUTINY
I took my hat off to catch the
big rain : Ashes, ashes, we all
fall down. When it was filled,
I put it on again. Have you ever
seen the rain? Each hamlet and
town I pass through now has
some deeper pain to remember.
Will I see you in September, or
lose you to some other's gain?
-
I can't go 'round. I can't turn back.
I'll be dead by August. Be sure of
that. There's no cleavage like the
might; every coin has its own two
sides. They may look like all the
others, but there's plenty of surprise.
